Finding Amazing ways of seeing / understanding each other through a different light to help us all change for the better.
Today was good …I can just tell the difference…thanks to God…
Wondering how long this will last?
Playing your string…
Good Morning…Charles R. Swindoll once said “We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.”
Our attitude should be one of faith in our Lord. This morning I was having this conversation with my sister about her Red Bull energy drink she left at home in the fridge. She said that she was just mentioning it to me… I simply replied well you better home its there when you get home…and she "Hahaha lol! I was already praying and hoping lol"
At that moment I thought well should we not be just hoping but believing in Him that we have it and receive it by faith. It is often hard for us to transition ourselves this way of thinking because we are so used to the earthly realm of instant gratification. Where we can simply just go get what we forgot from practically any store 24 hours a day any 7 days of the week any month of the year. Wouldn’t you think just looking at this one particular situation…have you played on the one string you have, and that is your attitude to make you that much closer to God.
LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING
That’s why we have all these genius minds that God has used to help us understand the much more of his great love he has for each one of us.
So I’m ready to go…just going to throw my clothes in the back seat..grab a basket of clothes..couple bags with the essentials in it….and I’m off…now the question all are asking is where are you going??
In the Bible from 1 Timothy 2:1, of the New Living Translation it says to “Pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” …Wow to be able to do this is a tremendous turning point for oneself. The self control one must have to not be so mad at their enemy or the person that just made them so angry 5 minutes earlier but to think in this verse it says to pray for all and intercede on their behalf. I am sure that most work-aholics or people that are trying to climb up that corporate ladder to only make a better future for their family, themselves, or because they feel they have to do it to feel acknowledged in some way.
Many that know me know that I have always been very book smart and I catch on to things that others seem to think no one is watching. You got to love those people who try to do things like that because you know they are really trying to do something that in their mind they think is or would be the best. Then most of the time the things do not work out the way they wanted it to work.
So always as it says in scripture pray for others on their behalf.
A simple Call …
Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV) - 3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ - when I read this for the first time I literally imagined me making a phone call to him and him answering on the other end , just like old friend we go into a conversation of depth about all these things that I wanted to know. - - I am going to just get myself to make that call and hear from him - - all I want to know…
